In Brazilian wax, the pubic hair is trimmed from the front of the pubic bone, around the external genitalia, to the middle of the upper thighs.hello everyone so today i'm larissaluxe.i'm just going to discuss about brazillian waxes and my experiences and what to expect and all that better stuff So let's get right into it I know.
look exhausted my eyes are oh my dark circles are popping right now it's okay though so my experiences from brazillian wax majority of them were good i' ve been going to the same business as a small business i've been going to them It has been like this since the beginning of time.
like what like five years been going to the same local businesses because they have a couple here in atlanta oops i'll let y'all know what city i stay in it's okay so the very first time it's going to hurt i'm not going to sugarcoat any of this it's going to be painful it's you know especially if you never had anything waxed down there if you've been shaving before you know our hair grows back thicker,
so imagine ripping thick not ripping well waxing thick hair coarse hair down there yeah it's going to be painful but the thing is you have to learn how to tolerate like if you have a high level pain tolerance you'will be okay but if you have a low pain tolerance i don't know i know somebody that will take a pain reliever like medication before they'll do it to not feel the pain as much so i don't know This is one way if you can go about it.
you have low pain tolerance or anyways and then you have to the maintenance of it it's not bad like you just go get it done four to six weeks some people get it done every three weeks i don't know for me on the third week there's like barely to no hair so that's pretty interesting every three weeks so four to six weeks is really recommended and do not shave in between because then you're going back to phase one the hair grows thicker and that pain is gonna go back being the same and the hair is going to have to train itself again
Again this is of no benefit to shave i've had all great experiences except for like two really pissed me off i'm not gonna say what it was but you all always let the people know if it's too hot and sometimes they even Ask you if the temperature is right and if they ask if the temperature is okay that's very professional like an esthetician who asked that is very good but If you feel this way, always tell them it's too hot or if it's going to burn you i prefer sugar because it's thicker and it doesn't hurt as much i don't feel it as much when it gets waxed.
so but that's just me i recommend that before you even decide to get waxed make sure everything's growing out down there i'm sorry y'all like it is what it is don't think you shaved three days ago and you can come in and get waxed like no i know that hair did not grow fully fall into a bush no it is what it is okay and then after you get waxed don't exfoliate down there for 24 to 48 hours because your pores are still open or is it 72.
one of those 24 i know i know for a fact it's after 24.like 24 hours you cannot do any of that or i think it's 48 or 72 it's one of those weight ingrown hairs because that does get annoying because then they always ask you did you shave because they see the ingrown hairs and they're like so why are these shorter and i'm like well i don't know because they're just there they're like do you exfoliate i'm like yeah i try to but i do exfoliate though anyways and to exfoliate because sometimes,
ingrown hairs does happen and you'll have to like buy or whatever your esthetician recommends you at their shop what is best to exfoliate down there to prevent future ingrown hairs and also don't shower in hot water because it's just going to hurt so ease off on that for a couple days do warm to cool water because your pores are really open and it'll just it'll it'll it will be a little bit painful for you so don't don't do any of that okay,
i always recommend to remain with the same esthetician because they know how your hair grows and they know the texture and they are well aware how to go about it also ladies and gentlemen if you feel uncomfortable because someone is going to judge you because you have a bush down there trust me they will not estheticians they are trained to do this okay!
They know what they signed up for and they're not going to judge you like you're literally just another one i promise you like they're going to be done with you in 10 to 15 minutes and then the next And then they're on to the next customer.
doing the same thing like they don't think about it they don't listen they just do their job and make sure they do a correct job and go about it it does take time to get out um being uncomfortable with it an idea of it all but once you feel like you are ready and comfortable for sure go with it and you know sometimes that esthetician may not work for you and it's okay to switch to another one don't feel like you're obligated to stay,
with one if you don't feel comfortable and it's okay it is okay you can always don't ever feel like you're pressured to stay with one also when you get waxed make sure you clean down there y' all make sure you shower right before you do it now make sure like um they always ask if you need to go to a restaurant just in case you got your period or anything you know.
so yeah always make sure never feel uncomfortable do i recommend it yeah i recommend it but for me i've been doing it for so long and i'm thinking about getting laser hair removal down there because i compare the prices of how i do it yearly how i get my waxes done yearly and then if i were to get laser hair removal and they range about the same price like obviously the laser is going to be a couple more dollars,
but it's just a couple more it's not like hundreds and hundreds more so i'm thinking about doing that i'm thinking moving on and transitioning you know flip the page on my book so and do i recommend it yes i recommend it i do because shaving is annoying oh my gosh you're telling me one week that thing grows quick godly it's annoying no a lot of razors you got to go through a lot of um shaving cream you have to go to lotion it's just it adds up it's,
actually sometimes more so expensive to shave than wax so like i go on like what three weeks without barely to no hair so yes i recommend it so yeah that's really all i have to say this is not like getting brazilian wax yeah i know it's like a different roller coaster but we don't freak out when we get our legs waxed so when we get our upper lip wax our eyebrows waxed it's the same thing,
it's just a little bit longer and it's just in a different place and i understand why some may freak out about it but you just have to you know it's something you have to mentally prepare for i would say that if you don't feel like if you don't feel comfortable in doing any of that laser or waxing,
that's okay don't ever feel like you're obligated to do that that is that is perfectly okay but there are some people that i know that are wanting to do it and and i know there's people out here What they want to know in the world and they've been thinking about it and someone like me i'm gonna let you know the truth there you go
